In brief

The pollen seasons of grasses and mugwort (Artemisia) have now ended. A few grains may still be detected sporadically, mainly due to resuspension by the wind, but their active emission period is over.

In addition, summer weather conditions are favourable to the development of certain allergenic moulds. Spore concentrations of the genus Cladosporium remain very high. These spores are among the most common outdoor allergens in summer and can cause respiratory symptoms in sensitive individuals.
