The birch (Betula) pollen season is currently at its peak. Airborne pollen concentrations, and consequently the risk of allergic reactions for sensitized individuals, are very high. Only periods of rainfall can temporarily reduce pollen levels. People with allergies are therefore advised to take all necessary precautions and follow their doctor’s recommendations.
