Hazel and alder trees are currently blooming and their allergenic pollen is released in case of dry and sunny weather. On Thursday February 14th, 230 alder and hazel pollen grains/m³ air were measured. People who are sensitized to this type of pollen should be careful.

Useful information:

Some people sensitized to birch pollen may experience allergy symptoms when hazel and alder pollen concentrations are high because of immune cross-reactivity between these allergens.
